Introduction to Studio Lighting Workshop Course

Below is a selection of photos from a recent Introduction to Studio Lighting Workshop.

Following a look at how studio lighting works, and discussing camera settings for studio photography, we went into a beauty lighting setup below.

This was our first lighting setup of the day. A beauty lighting photo of the workshop model, Joy.

Next we followed up with this 3 light setup.
Similar to above, but another studio flash was added and the lighting position adjusted for full length.

We changed to use hard light from a single studio flash.
This one was against the photography studio white wall, and again this was a single studio flash which was modified and positioned carefully to best show Joy's great cheekbones.
Similar to the one previous, this was photographed from a higher camera position with Joy's eyes closed.

Thanks to a great group of photographers who attended this workshop course, and also to Joy who did a great job professionally modelling.

I hold regular studio lighting workshop courses. Details can be found by clicking photography courses here.
