This is Natasha who I had the pleasure of photographing on Thursday evening. I had planned to be doing some location photography that evening, but it wasn’t to be with heavy rain. However, Catherine and Natasha had previously been in touch with each other about having some photos done sometime, and after a quick text at extremely short notice, Natasha was delighted to be involved and was with us a couple of hours later ๐Ÿ™‚

This had got to be one of the least planned photo sessions ever, so following Natasha’s arrival, and a quick rummage through what she’d brought it was decided that colour and lots of it should be the order of the evening. This worked out well as it gave me an excuse to use a brightly coloured background I’d been wanting to get out for ages ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s a selection of images from the evening, which photographically are a mix of soft studio light and more of my continuing experimentation with harder light sources.

Fashion and photographic make-up application is by Catherine, and a BIG thank you to Natasha for being such a star ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks also to Damien who dropped in and not only got some great images himself, but done his now customary behind the scenesย  – now progressed to video as well as stills images!!

Colour explosion!

Yellow and blue is always a winner for me.

A change to hard light.

One eye showing with strong eye contact was the idea here.
