Recently I had the pleasure of being commissioned by Azelia Jackson Make-up, for photography for 4 of her students. These students were in the final stages of their Fashion and Photographic Make-up Course, by Azelia, and this was a big day for them all as they made their way to our Linen Green photography and make-up premises.
It’s fair to say student Make-up artists, Donna, Justina, Sinead and Amanda were all very nervous on arrival, but once we got under way it soon became a hive of activity and a very exciting place to be! Each student was given the opportinity to complete 2 different make-up looks, while alternating models between hair styling and make-up. I also tried where possible to give each student 2 styles of photo for each make-up look.
A big thankyou to Judith, Ernesta, Natasha and Ria, all who make excellent make-up models on the day, and Becca our hair stylist for the day. It was a lot of lipstick, hairspray and women all in one place, but we got through it 🙂
The student’s make-up on the day was very impressive, and I wish them every success as they set out in their chosen career as make-up artists, and hopefully our photography will make a good start to their portfolios.
