North West 200 Comes to The Linen Green (in mini form)

This is Daryl, who it’s fair to say is just as nuts about road racing bikes as his dad! It’s therefore appropriate that these photos were done just before the famous North West 200 road races this year, and even though this year’s ‘big’ races were a washout with rain and other unfortunate events, at least the mini version here was a great success 🙂

Daryl’s dad is a mechanic with one of the top racing teams, and while I also have a very keen personal interest in the North West 200, my bike knowledge is obviously much more limited. I did appreciate however, that this mini replica bike is very special indeed. Daryl’s dad explained how it was brought in from Japan, and how reluctant they are over there to let them out of their country.
